Analysis, made material.

Bark & Beam is a studio practice producing wall works and furniture shaped by judgment, structure, and craft.

The work favors clarity over ornament, structure over spectacle, and material honesty over finish. Analysis is not displayed, but absorbed—allowing form to emerge through understanding rather than assertion.

Operating between art and engineering, surface and structure, the work is designed to lived with over time.

The Works.

  • Wall Works

Wall works translate complex systems into physical form. Through disciplined analysis and careful iteration, data, structure, and insights are distilled into reliefs that can be read slowly and lived alongside.

  • Furniture

Furniture is made to be lived with. Each piece is shaped through judgment and craft, built to endure time, and the demands of life. Structure provides steadiness, allowing the work to age rather than wear.
